ShepherdPrep Terms of Use

These terms describe the intended use of the product and the responsibilities that remain with the user when using AI-assisted sermon preparation.

Service scope

ShepherdPrep is provided as a sermon-preparation and Bible-study workflow tool. It helps users generate outlines, discover cross-references, keep notes organized, and export drafts. It is not presented as a substitute for prayer, personal study, theological training, pastoral oversight, or local church authority.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account, for keeping your credentials secure, and for ensuring that any material you create, store, or export through the service is used appropriately in your ministry context.

AI-generated output

Generated outlines and suggestions are probabilistic outputs, not guaranteed theological authorities. The product is designed to avoid fabricated commentary sources, fake quotations, and overclaiming, but users must still review all outputs carefully before preaching, teaching, distributing, or publishing them.

Content and intellectual property

You retain responsibility for the content you enter into the app and for how you use exported material. Do not rely on ShepherdPrep to provide licensed Bible translation text in bulk. If you add third-party content, you are responsible for having the right to use it.

Availability and beta changes

Because the product is currently operating as an MVP and beta-stage service, features, limits, pricing, and availability may change as the product evolves. The service may be updated, suspended, or modified in order to improve quality, reliability, or safety.

Pastoral responsibility remains with you

Final responsibility for doctrine, tone, application, citations, and pastoral appropriateness belongs to the person using the product. Review every outline with care before teaching or sharing it.
