ShepherdPrep Privacy Policy
This policy explains, at a practical level, what information the product uses to provide account access, sermon-prep features, saved notes, and exports.
What ShepherdPrep stores
When you create an account, ShepherdPrep stores the information needed to authenticate you and operate your workspace. That includes your email address, profile details you choose to add, sermon outlines, notes, cross-reference data, export history, and basic timestamps needed to save and organize your work.
How generated content is processed
When you request outline generation or related AI features, the passages, prompts, and options you submit are processed through the app's AI provider in order to return a result. Use discretion when submitting sensitive pastoral or counseling details, and avoid including confidential personal information that is not necessary for sermon preparation.
Bible text and copyrighted content
ShepherdPrep is designed to store references and short paraphrased summaries rather than large blocks of copyrighted Bible translation text. Users remain responsible for ensuring any external text they add, upload, or export is used in a way that complies with the rights of the source material.
Analytics and operational data
The app may collect limited technical and diagnostic information needed to secure, improve, and troubleshoot the service, including sign-in activity, error logs, export events, and general usage patterns. This information is used to operate the product and improve reliability, not to sell personal data.
Your control over your work
You can edit, export, and delete content in your workspace subject to the capabilities available in the product. If you stop using the app, you should export or remove any material you need to retain before closing access to the service.
Preparation reminder
ShepherdPrep is a preparation assistant. Users are responsible for reviewing generated material carefully and applying prayer, study, pastoral judgment, and local ministry wisdom before teaching or publishing content.
